Pastor Bobby Allen Jr is a native of Ogden, Utah. Bobby has been at Griffin Memorial Church of God in Christ (formally known as Griffin Temple) since childhood.
Pastor Bobby Allen Jr has come up through the ranks in the Church of God in Christ. He has served as a Sunday School teacher, YPWW President, Men’s Fellowship President, President of S.W.A.T. (Soul Winners Across Town), Media ministry leader and also worked in the community outreach as jail ministry leader. He attended the COGIC C.H. Mason Bible College where he attained a teachers certificate and continued as a teacher. In 1990, he was licensed as a minister in the COGIC and later ordained as an Elder in 1994. For twenty-eight years, Pastor Bobby Jr has been serving as the Chief Adjutant of Utah Jurisdiction COGIC. He served faithfully under Bishop Bobby R. Allen until he was appointed pastor in 2021.
Prior to working full-time in the ministry, Pastor Bobby Allen Jr. was a Customer Service Engineer for Bell and Howell in Salt Lake City, Utah until 2012. Pastor Bobby Jr. understands the power of prayer, miracles, and healing. He has overcome many health battles, including a kidney transplant and open heart surgery. He testifies today of the power of God’s healing.
Pastor Bobby Allen Jr. is passionate about good leadership and has a heart for evangelism and winning souls for Christ.
He is known to be a great preacher, counselor, and prayer warrior. Pastor Bobby Allen Jr has found favor with God and man and is truly tenacious in doing the will of the Lord. He loves to see people live their best life through Christ. “I like to live that way and like to see people live that way”
Pastor Bobby Allen Jr. is married to his lovely wife, Brenda Allen for 30 years. He has two lovely daughters, Tameka and Ashley and loving memories of his son, Bobby Ray Allen III. He has 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
